Your Wow! energy Factor....

When things are not working as you would, and you find yourself low on energy - you may be misssing your Wow! This is not the kind of energy that can be made up with extra sleep - it is the kind of energy that could be described as excitement or is a spiritual thing.. and it makes all the difference...

The Wow! Energy has been known by many other names in different cultures and religions over many generations. – such as chi or shakti or even just the spirit. I discovered its power for energetic performance from Desmond Jones in a drama class back in 1990 and have been fascinated by its potential since then, and in particular its connection to our deep spirituality.

It is that inner spiritual love energy that changes you in an instant if you are open. It is always available, unlimited, and not linked to the usual bodily constraints. It flies in the face of negativity and creates in you a force of energy and enthusiasm that can even overcome anger, stress and anxiety. It is a channel of positivity and purity that allows for the greatest compassion in humanity as it comes from deeper inside; and it is so connected with others that it feels like the power comes from outside – from a power beyond ourselves. It is generous and caring, it is gentle as well as powerful. It is the best in your and me and I believe it is the key to living the stress-less life.

The Wow! is capable of unblocking past anger triggered by buried memories, allowing safe and positive release of damaged emotions that contaminate your present relationships and interactions. These blockages have many names in different cultures and in psychology too. They are triggered through the senses, and must be experienced and released through the emotions. The Wow! gives the power to do this safely and positively so that you can be healthy and whole again.

You can be healed and fully functioning and live in freedom from your past, with a positive hope for the future. You can build positive relationships with all who in your life – including your angry teenagers. You can discover your inner Wow! and live the stress-less life.

How in control do you feel? Are there areas of your life that cause you to feel stressed or anxious? Does it seem like life comes at you all at once leading to overwhelming anxiety? Do you expect to be a parenting champion all at once? Are you struggling to find peace in the chaos?

The Stress-less life is built on the principle of taking back control of your life – one day at a time…maybe even one moment at a time. You don’t have to handle your life all at once…you only need to handle today…and this moment in time…

Do you know what you need to do right now? Is it aligned with your purpose? Does it fit into your mission? Do you have goals in place for your life long term? Does what you are doing right now meet up with achieving your goals?

When you stop and enjoy each moment – safe in the knowledge that it fits and it part of your plan – you can live the Stress-less life. When you can understand your purpose, mission and goals for your family then you can live the life of the Stress-less parent. When blocks get in the way – you can find skills and strategies to equip you for the job of parenting at the Stress-less life. When you are struggling with longer term blocks from your past – you can find release at the Stress-less life.

Is it possible to do more than you think you can? In a word – no! Do I mean to disagree with Henry Ford on this one? Well, no to that too!

It’s all about belief. You have change your thinking... this is where the coaching really takes on a huge importance. Coaching is a means of accessing your inner confidence and assessing your strengths, so that you can open up new beliefs that allow for new thinking. You see, you need to think you can in order to move beyond your perceived limitations. You have to be willing to accept the possibility that you are capable of achieving more. Now you think you can – and so you will achieve! You can think yourself into or out of success – and you have to have a strong belief that can.

Do you think that you can? Do you believe you have what it takes? Do you realise that your thinking makes all the difference?

Another of Ford’s quotes supports this strongly; he says ‘if you think you can, and if you think you can’t - you’re right!’ Why? When you think you can you will try, and keep on trying because you believe you can succeed. Because you think you can you will persevere until you get the success you really want. Is it that simple? Is it all about your thought life? Yes! But is it easy – well no, of course not!! But it is right and it is so important – your success depends on it.

You are capable of doing so much more than you currently think you can – so change your thinking and start achieving more. Take some time with your journal and write down your thoughts that hold you back. Find a way of reframing each thought around a positive belief. Let this be the focus of your new thinking.

Will you take time to get your thinking right today? Will you choose to believe that you can? Will you take control of your thoughts so they work for you and not against you?

Making the change....

What area of your life do you want to change? Where are you heading to? Are you ready to make the sacrifice?

With any change in your life there will inevitably be some discomfort. Anything new in your life is more than likely going to be out of your comfort zone…but as my Everest sweater states: ‘that is where the good stuff happens!’ When trekking to Everest base camp there were many times I felt like giving up. At one point I was so sick that I was almost forced to give up. But I needed to achieve my goal… I had set my sight on Everest and I endured the uncomfortability to ensure that I reached it. This serves me as a metaphor as I have faced, and continue to face massive change in my life. It is never easy, it is never comfortable…but it is what I want to reach my goals.

What about you? Are you ready to make the shift in your life…in your consciousness...into your dreams? It is time to step out of your comfort zone…make the shift.

Is it time for you to take back control of your life? Is it time to take back the confidence you need for this year? Is it time to take responsibility for your life? Who do you want to be?


There has never been a better time than now for you to take charge of your life. It will mean losing the stress of being pushed around by others and feeling like a victim – out of control. It will mean you start to become the confident person you have always wanted to be. It is in your hands if you want to make some changes – and when better to start than now?


What thoughts are you holding in your mind right now? Are they thoughts that will encourage you, build you up, and lead you to a more confident and stronger you? Only you can change your thoughts – and they have a habit of becoming self-fulfilling! If you constantly think about not achieving, not being brave or confident, not being able to handle life – then that will become true for you. You might convince yourself you’re just being ‘realistic’! Then you can be happy in your negativity and assure yourself that this is the best way to live without adventure or disappointment! What a great and ‘realistic’ way to live!?


When you take charge and make the change in your mind – you can become equally ‘realistic’ about the positive actions and life you lead. If it becomes true then it becomes are in charge! So start thinking about achieving, about being brave and confident, about handling it – and see your life change for the better. Let that realism become your new positive reality – once you start, it’s amazing just how much positive change happens, and just how quickly it can take hold!


To quote Henry Ford again ‘If you think you can, and if you think you can’t – you are right!’ Think about it! Only you can change this – as Mark says, ‘put your future in good hands’!
